Can Running Make you Happy?

This is a spoken essay I wrote and turned into a motivational video. It argues running fosters true happiness through effort, struggle, and accomplishment: not material possessions. Drawing on George Sheehan's ideas, the Buddha's enlightenment, as well as human evolution, it emphasizes consistent training as the path to becoming a happier, stronger runner and person.

Unintended Consequences

Another spoken essay I made that explores the unintended consequences of modern progress, technology, medicine, and lifestyle changes. It highlights the distance we have come from our evolutionary roots, and contends that avoiding natural hardships (sunlight, physical stress, face-to-face contact) may harm health and survival. I advocate embracing challenges like running to rebuild resilience and honor our "pure human state" for true well-being. What do you think?

"We are killing ourselves with our cleverness"
